Subject: Just a few corrections
This is absolutely wonderful music and I'm grateful that it's been posted here and given to us in mostly excellent transfers from the 78 rpm originals. Just a few corrections on some of the attributions here:

"Just Keep On Doin' What You're Doin'" and "Riffin' the Scotch" are both from a session on December 18, 1933 in New York City. At the time Goodman's was just a studio band (he wouldn't start a band that actually performed live for another four months) and the vocalists are Jack Teagarden on "Keep On Doin'" and Billie Holiday on "Riffin' the Scotch."

"My Melancholy Baby" is from a Benny Goodman Quartet session from November 18, 1936.

"The World Is Waiting for the Sunrise" is from a March 10, 1942 session and does not feature Charlie Christian (who had died eight days earlier).

The three TV tracks are from the Texaco-sponsored "Swing Into Spring" special aired April 9, 1958. The correct titles for the songs sung by the McGuire sisters are "Blue Skies" and "I'd Rather Lead a Band." (Both are by Irving Berlin and "I'd Rather Lead a Band" is from the Astaire/Rogers musical "Follow the Fleet.")

"Exactly Like You" is a small-band recording from the 1960's or later.

"Downhill Special" is not by Benny Goodman at all. It's from a series recorded by the Crown records label of reconstructions of classic big bands done by L.A.-based studio musicians.

"It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)" is also not by Goodman. It sounds like an early-1930's recording by either Cab Calloway or one of his imitators.
